Lisa is the current Principal at Gordon Education Centre in Mount Gambier. Gordon Education Centre supports around 70 students from year R-12. Lisa began her leadership career as Deputy Principal at GEC over 10 years ago. Lisa joined the executive team at SASEPLA to give the educators, students and families of the South east a voice in Adelaide.
Lisa's career began in the UK where she taught across many school until her pasion for students with disability grew. She eventually gained a position as s pecial educational coordinator where she supported many students in a large primary school.
Since moving to Australia she has continued her career in special education and become an advocate for students with disabilities across the Limestone Coast.
Lisa's commitment to building a world class education for all students in South Australia starts with her drive to build Gordon Education into a self improving, innovative site. Her passion for educational programs which are developed specifically to support students with a disability has transformed the way the curriculum is taught at GEC.
Lisa works with para professionals and the wider community to bring opportunities to her students and advocates for her students to become valued, independent members of community.
