Rachel Scheuboeck

Rachel is deeply passionate about Special Education and has dedicated over 25 years to supporting students, staff, and families in this field. She is currently based at Kilparrin, and has previously held leadership positions including Acting Principal and Deputy across two Special Education sites, and Coordinator of the Kidman Park Disability Unit. Rachel has contributed at a corporate level through her work in Inclusive Teaching and Learning, and as Manager of the Statewide Inclusive Education Services. With extensive experience in support services as a teacher of the deaf, Inclusive Educator and Team Manager, Rachel brings a strong commitment to inclusive practices, student voice, and building capacity across schools.
As a member of the SASEPLA executive, Rachel is committed to making a meaningful difference in Special Education. She is particularly passionate about ensuring that funding allocations and conditions in Special Education sites reflect the increasing complexities of the field. Rachel looks forward to collaborating with colleagues to improve outcomes for all students living with disability and to strengthen support for the staff who work alongside them.
